A woman who struggles to get to sleep because of her boyfriend's constant snoring has found a genius way to turn his annoying noises into cash.
Ana Malfair, 26, and her partner Luis, 33, began sharing a bed together full-time when they moved in together last year, and ever since, the woman has been suffering from sleepless nights because of Luis' loud snoring.
To make matters worse, Luis even claims his snoring isn't that bad, despite Ana often being kept awake with nothing to listen to but the constant wheezes and snorts from her partner.
In an effort to prove her boyfriend wrong, Ana recorded Luis in the act, and has since worked out a way to turn her recordings into money - leaving social media users in stitches in the process.
Ana, from Mexico, said: "He would always deny it, so, of course, I did the obvious thing. I got proof through [a sound] recording because a video would be awfully creepy.
"When I [played] him the audio he thought it was hilarious, so I kept recording him whenever I got the chance."
After battling through a year of her boyfriend's snoring, Ana decided to start sharing her audio recordings with the world, and got in touch with a few musician friends who helped her upload the sounds to Spotify - where they have even managed to make her some money.
She added: "It honestly just started as something funny like he said he didn't snore and now everyone can hear them! I had a load of listeners from all over, including Mexico, the US, and even Japan!"
The Spotify account, called Snoring Machine, has over 15,300 monthly listeners, and its most popular song to date is titled 'light snoring'. And so far, the savvy woman has managed to make around £25 from her boyfriend's snoring.
"So far I have made £25 ($32.51)," she said, "And I get updates every month, so I'm excited to see how it grows!"
Ana later shared her story on TikTok, where people were quick to ask her how she did it - so that they can do the same with their own partner's annoying night-time noises.
One person wrote: "Show me how because I have plenty of material!"
While another added: "I got a good laugh out of this video, what a good idea!"
And a third asked: "I have a snoring puppy, does that count?"
