Halloween is the one time of year when anyone can dress the way they want - with as few or as many layers as they please - without the fear of judgement. Celebrating one seasonal party with friends, Pia Blossom was undoubtedly shocked when her boyfriend at the time labelled her Halloween costume as "inappropriate".
The social media star opted for a 'dead Playboy bunny' look which consisted of a black leotard, tights, heels and black bunny ears, paired with a bowtie and fake blood to make the fit more terrifying. Pia - who boasts more than 240,000 followers on account @piablossom_x - went on to explain how she faced a brutal dumping over the saga.
Sharing the clip to popular video-streaming service TikTok, she explained: "It's nearly Halloween, so I thought I would tell you guys about the time that I got dumped over a Halloween costume.
"As you can see, I was a dead Playboy bunny and I was wearing just tights. They're quite dark in that picture. It's more obvious in another picture that I posted from behind, but if I posted it on here it would get taken down by TikTok.
"My very new boyfriend was angling for an invite on this night out, but I was only going out with two girls who were both not bringing partners. I ignored his hints because it would have just been weird, but when I posted [the costume] on my Instagram before going out, he text me saying, 'are you actually wearing that outside? I can see your whole a***'.
"He basically told me he thought that it was inappropriate. I was at my friend's house ready to go at this point and he's like, 'can you ask to borrow some leggings from her or something? And wear leggings instead of tights'.
She fumed: "And ruin my costume?! No!"
Pia went on: "He was supposed to be picking me up from the night out, which he insisted on by the way. I'm in the club and it's Halloween - everyone's dressed up - and I meet this guy who's dressed as a giant egg.
"I spoke to this guy and I was really drunk. I was like, 'oh my God, I love your costume'. He then said, 'I love yours, do you want to swap?'
"I said, 'hell yeah, I want to swap my costume'! I literally put the egg costume on over the top and took my leotard out from underneath. I mistakenly thought that my boyfriend would love this because now I have no boobs and no bum.
"He sees my Instagram stories and he tries to call me a million times.
She continued: "So, I called him back thinking he can't give me a lift or something, which would be fine. But instead, he's like, 'who's costume is that?!'
"I said, 'I don't know, I thought you'd like it! You can't see my boobs or my bum anymore - I'm an egg.
"He's going psycho, saying, 'what man did you sleep with to give you that costume?'
"I did not sleep with the man for the egg costume, it was a very even trade. I hung up, turn my phone off, carried on with my night out with my friends and never saw him again.
"But he then said we broke up because I slept with someone on a night out because for some reason he had this narrative that I slept with someone for an egg costume."
