My 600lb Life’s heaviest surviving patient unrecognisable after epic weight loss

The heaviest star from TLC's 'My 600lb Life' has undergone significant weight loss in a dramatic transformation.

Julius 'JT' Clark has shed nearly half his body weight, and now looks unrecognisable on his recent Facebook pictures.

On the series, which saw overweight men and women battle to lose the pounds and be healthier, JT got down to an impressive 491 pounds from a starting weight of 892 pounds.

His starting weight was the equivalent of 63.7 stone, which he than shrank down to 35.07 stone following his stint on the reality programme.

Viewers of the show saw JT reveal his astounding diet on the programme, which was behind his obese weight.

Speaking to the camera, JT revealed he ate three pizzas per day, followed by five sausages, three hamburgers and two orders of fries as well as plus peanut butter and ice cream for dessert.

JT was also suffering from a 100lb lymphedema mass on his left leg, as well as his battle with obesity, but battled on to become one of the highest weight losses on the show.

He was only beaten by Sean Milliken in season four, who weighed in at 919 pounds (65.6 stone). However, Milliken sadly died in 2019 after losing more than 550lbs.

Under the care of Dr Nowzaradan, JT lost 400 pounds on season eight of the show before seeming to disappear from the spotlight.

Remaining private since his stint on camera, JT and girlfriend Jessica split shortly after the programme ended.

Staying firmly out of the limelight, JT has kept updates few and far between but a recently updated profile picture on Facebook shows the Oklahoma man looking much slimmer.

The star looks slimmer in the face with his dark hair cropped short, and his jawline looking more chiselled than in previous years.

Though he stays quiet on social media, in December 2022 he revealed he was struggling with depression which led to an outpouring of support from fans.

He added: "It hurts to say I miss you."

Whilst not giving much else away, he gave an update at the beginning of this year as he posted: "It is what it is."
