A brand new mezze and grill restaurant has opened its doors in Headingley.
The hummus haven opened in August in Otley Road and has proven to be a hit within its first month. Kofte Restaurant offers a range of traditional dishes including small plates and authentic desserts.
Items on the menu include halloumi fries, fried calamari, vegetable spring rolls, feta rolls, meat samosas and hummus for starters, while mains include the traditional kebabs - sheesh, and shawarma.

Those who love a burger will not be disappointed as Kofte serves a variety including a Moroccan burger, a grilled halloumi and beef burger, chicken burgers, and more. Dishes are also very affordable with starters priced at around £5-£7 and mains up to £11 including fries and Greek bread on the side.
The new spot also offers two cocktails for £10, and there are discounts for students. Instagram food reviewer @eatdrinkloveleeds said: "I love the bright, colourful interior with comfy chairs. The bar is well stocked with spirits, cocktails, and local beer. Mezze is my favourite way to eat - love loads of picky bits.
"You can also get burgers and kebabs if you're after a big old main. We'll be back." "This looks delicious", @foodguideyorkshrie added. "This looks fantastic", another added. One reviewer said: "Love it there."
Another reviewer branded the spot a "must try", and said: "I had a yum evening of food in Headingley. Place called Kofte in Otely Road. A must try if you're in that neck of the woods.
Kofte Restaurant is open from Tuesday to Sunday every week. Weekdays from 5pm until 10pm, and Saturday and Sunday 12pm until 10pm.
