If you're a lover of all things stagey, you will want to clear your diaries for a night in June, as a Musical Theatre Rave is coming to Newcastle, promising an epic night out.
Having already delighted revellers in the likes of Brighton, London and Manchester, organisers of the Musical Theatre Rave have announced a host of new shows and one of those is at Digital in the city centre on Friday, June 9.
An online description for the night, which will get going at 10pm, reads: 'Calling all musical theatre fans - this is the night you've been waiting for!
'Let your hair down and dance to all your favourite stagey songs in this epic theatrical party. Featuring live performances from West End stars, lip sync battles and a full musical theatre DJ set, Musical Theatre Rave is the ultimate night out for theatre lovers!'

Stars who have so far performed at the raves include Six favourite Grace Moat, Rent actor Blake Patrick Anderson and Luke Bayer (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie).
Tickets for the Newcastle date are on sale now, online from Eventim and start at £16.31.
Friday, June 9 just so happens to be the same night that Sam Fender plays the first of two sell out shows at nearby St James' Park, so if you fancy carrying on the party to a very different kind of soundtrack, you know where to go.
