Music legend Tom Jones to play massive Scottish gig on new tour

MUSIC legend Tom Jones has announced he will play a concert in Scotland later this year.

The Welsh crooner will play Glasgow’s OVO Hydro in December as one of his five tour dates in the UK.

Jones will also play gigs in Nottingham, Birmingham, London, and Manchester in the Christmas period.

His Glasgow gig will be on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.

Tickets for the whole UK tour will go on general sale on Friday, August 8, at 10.00am.

Jones wrote on Twitter/X: "Thrilled to announce I will be playing arenas across the UK this December.

"I cannot wait to bring my #AgesandStages tour to a city near you, it’s going to be lots of fun!"

Jones has been a household name since the 1960s, when he broke through with a string of hits including It's Not Unusual and Delilah.

The singer, now 83, has sold more than 100 million records.

Jones, a regular on the Las Vegas circuit, was good friends with fellow music icon Elvis Presley before he died.
