A murder investigation has been launched after a young man was stabbed to death in east London.
Police were called by paramedics to reports Abdul Jalloh, 23, had suffered a knife wound on New Union Close, Isle of Dogs at 4.15pm on Monday.
Officers and London’s Air Ambulance also attended.
Mr Jalloh, who lived in the area, was treated at the scene.
But despite the efforts of London Ambulance Service, he died a short time later.
Footage posted online shows scores of several emergency service vehicles and a forensic tent behind a police cordon.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “His next of kin have been informed and will be supported by specialist officers.

“A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.”
One arrest has been made in connection with the investigation and enquiries are ongoing, he added.
A crime scene will remain in place for some time.
Acting Chief Superintendent Brigid Beehag-Fisher, a police lead in Tower Hamlets and Hackney, said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the young man who has lost his life.
“Police received a number of calls from concerned members of the public when the victim was found yesterday afternoon, but we think there are a number of other people who saw what happened who have yet to speak to us.
“My colleagues in our homicide team are working to establish exactly what happened and it’s incredibly important that they hear from those people.
“Additional patrols will be conducted in the area while my officers will remain at the crime scene. I urge local people to speak to them and share information that they think can help us bring to justice whoever was responsible for this terrible violence.”
London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 4.12pm on Monday, August 5 to reports of an incident in New Union Close, E14.
“We sent a number of resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, members of our Hazardous Area Response Team (HART), an incident response officer, a paramedic in a fast response car and London’s Air Ambulance.
“The first of our crews arrived at the scene in four minutes.
“Our crews treated a man at the scene. Sadly, despite the best efforts of emergency responders, he died at the scene.”
