A murder investigation is ongoing after the death of 16-year-old Kennie Carter in Stretford.
Officers remain at the scene of the fatal stabbing this morning (Monday) and a police tent remains in place.
Floral tributes have been left outside a house and near the police cordon for Kennie, who died after being found with stab wounds on Thirlmere Avenue on Saturday night.
Five arrests have been made over his suspected murder.

The suspects are all boys aged between 15 and 17, and are being held on suspicion of murder.
Four teenagers were arrested on Saturday night after warrants were executed in Stretford, Old Trafford and Hulme.
The fifth handed himself in a police station, GMP said.
This morning, specialist tactical aid unit officers were pictured on Thirlmere Avenue carrying out searches.
A cordon remains in place near a police tent in front of a house.
Another police tent is erected on the corner of Coniston Road and Langdale Road.
Flowers have been left near the police cordon.
Some have also been left outside a nearby house on Ennerdale Road.
Officers are continuing to guard the cordon as investigations are carried out.
Emergency services were scrambled to the incident at around 7pm on Saturday night.
Kennie was rushed to hospital from the scene, but tragically died later.
Yesterday, one woman - a family friend of Kennie's - spoke to the Manchester Evening News at the scene of the incident and described him as a 'lovely boy'.
"He was funny, he made everyone laugh and had a cheeky smile", she added.
Superintendent Caroline Hemingway of GMP's Trafford district held a press conference at the scene yesterday afternoon.
She warned people about the dangers of carrying knives.
Supt Hemingway said: "We will not relent in tackling this problem in our society, and we are doing all we can with partners and the community to stop more young lives being lost on our streets.
"A family is today grieving the loss of a much-loved young soul.
"If you know someone carrying a knife, look out for them: think of how their actions could cost someone a life, ruin a poor family's life, wreck their own life, and wreck the lives of their loved ones."
