Police officers are at the scene of an ongoing incident at a home in Aberdeen.
Emergency services, included armed officers, raced to Mansefield Road in the Torry area of the city around 6pm on Sunday.
Local media reports claim officers are investigating a murder, with one other person understood to have been injured.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are not yet known.
A major police cordon has been put in place with a uniformed officer standing guard at two properties on the street.
Photographs of the scene show police vehicles blocking off parts of the road with tape in place.
Road closures remain in place at Loirston Place, Girdlestone Place and Glenbervie Road.
It is understood Abbey Place and Girdlestone Place are also affected by the road closures.
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
