A woman was arrested on suspicion of murder after a 31-year-old man died after suffering "serious injuries"
Cheshire Police were called to Yardley Avenue in Warrington at around 10.45pm on Thursday, December 12, following reports of an incident. Once officers arrived at the scene they found a 31-year-old man with serious injuries in a home.
He was taken to hospital but died a short time later. Officers arrested a 44-year-old woman on suspicion of murder, she remains in custody.

Police have taped off the road while they investigate the incident. Enquiries are ongoing.
Detective Chief Inspector Adam Waller said: “I understand this will cause some concern in the community. We have made an arrest and are working tirelessly to establish the circumstances.
“Patrols have been increased to provide reassurance while we investigate this incident.”
