Mums go wild for Asda's vapour bath that helps kids sleep - and it's only 87p

Last month, mums couldn't get enough of Asda's Little Angels liquid talc, which they said helped them beat the dreaded warm weather chafing.

This month there's another Little Angels item that's causing a stir and it's been branded a "miracle worker"

Parents on Facebook can't stop obsessing over the Vapour Bath, a product they claim works wonders for getting the little ones into bed and fast asleep.

The menthol scented product is available in branches of the supermarket across the UK and costs just 87p for a bottle - what a steal!

Posting in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Tuesday, mum Keely Johnson recommended the item to others, describing it as "brilliant".

She wrote: "Asda Vapour Bath now back in stock at Park Gate. Brilliant for helping your baby drift off to sleep and if they're a bit chesty.

"For 87p who could complain?"

Emma Charlton jumped on the comments, admitting that she'd just tried the stuff for herself and it was a "miracle worker".

She added: "My baby had her immunisations yesterday afternoon. From 8pm last night until almost 3pm today she cried. It was horrendous. I didn't sleep a wink and physically had to hold her for around 15 hours to stop her crying.

"Tonight I bathed her in this, gave her a bottle and put her to bed. I just woke up from a two hour nap and baby is still settled. Maybe it's a coincidence, but my god this stuff to me is a miracle worker right now."

10 steps to ensure safe sleep for babies

Another parent shared that it didn't just work for children, it also was great for adults and she often added it to her own bubble bath to help her wind down after a stressful day.

Someone else suggested it could be good for those who suffer with migraines too.

Hundreds of people liked the post, with many vowing to try the product out on their own little ones at home.

"We'll have to try this," commented one Facebook user.

Another replied: "I need to try this so I can get some sleep."
