Mums blown away by 'miracle' £8 balm that 'cures dry skin and painful eczema in DAYS'

With the cold weather comes a number of skin concerns, particularly chapped lips, dry skin and eczema. But shoppers have been heaping praise on an ‘amazing’ skin-saving salve that rescues sore, itchy skin in days.

Praised by healthcare professionals and customers alike for its dramatic effects on troubled skin, Balmonds Skin Salvation appears to be the ultimate solution for hard-working hands that are being put through their paces day in day out.

Customers with sore hands as a result of being frequently washed, or coming into contact with irritants or allergens, have seen remarkable results with the all-natural balm, and it can be used for almost anything including nappy rash, tattoo aftercare, climbers’ hands and eczema.

Some shoppers have even used the balm for cuts and grazes, cracked heels, chapped lips and all manner of little skin emergencies.

Long-term sufferer of eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis, Wendy Hutchinson, said: "After a recent flare up of dermatitis on my hands, I was desperate to find something I could use without steroids, that would help my skin. I came across the Skin Salvation and I'm so pleased I did.

“After 10 days, it had completely cleared up. I was amazed! The dermatitis had made life with a young family and work very difficult and I was starting to get very down about it."

Meanwhile Meegan Close described the little pot as a ‘miracle’, commenting: “I could not believe I did not try this product sooner as the difference in only a few days was a miracle. I now use the Skin Salvation moisturiser day and night on the areas that become red the most, which keeps my eczema at bay.

“I have allergies to fragrances and usually if I am around those allergens, my skin starts to itch and becomes irritated but as soon as I apply the moisturiser, the irritation stops. This has been a miracle for me and helped when I had hit an all time low."

Zoe Griffin added: "My hands are constantly on show in my job, which can make me self conscious and within a week my red flakey itchy skin had completely changed. It’s amazing and the fact it’s made with natural products is a win win."

Skin Salvation is a traditional beeswax balm made with hemp seed oil and anti-inflammatory herbs.

The salve was originally formulated by a mum desperate for an emollient that didn’t sting her baby’s sore skin. It is 100% natural, and contains no perfumes, preservatives, parabens or other synthetics. It’s also free from nuts, coconut, soya, lanolin, dairy-derivatives, or any ingredient that has ever been tested on animals, and is suitable for use on babies over six weeks old.

Mum Marsela Clifton reviewed the product after sore skin left her son crying in pain, writing: "I was desperate to find something when a friend pointed me towards these beautiful products. My little boy could barely make a fist his hands were cracked and sore crying at night with the pain. One week later couldn’t believe the improvement. We’re so happy and he loves the smell and takes it to bed with him."

Chefs, cleaners, gardeners, parents and hairdressers have all praised the multi-purpose balm, but throughout the pandemic, it was healthcare professionals who dubbed the Skin Salvation as a ‘life saver’.

Balmonds Skincare distributed emergency care parcels of their balm to NHS workers in dire need of skin care help while struggling with harsh sanitiser and constant hand washing.

Healthcare professional Victoria Taylor said: "My face and hands have really been suffering from all the PPE over the last couple of months and these products have been a life saver!!" While GP, Emma Stuart added: “Best hand cream in the world. I am a GP and my hands get so dry from constant washing. This is my saviour!”

The Balmonds Skin Salvation starts at £7.99 for a 30ml pot, or £19.99 for a 120ml pot if you think you’ll find yourself slathering your skin in it. You can shop the multi-purpose balm online here.
