'Mummy' who collapsed and died after Turkey holiday was 'too good for this world'

A "beautiful" mum will be "guiding her family from heaven" as loving tributes have been paid.

Tributes have come pouring in for Melissa Kinsella who died after collapsing at the airport while on holiday. The 30-year-old was on holiday in Turkey with her partner, Jay Smith, his family and their three children, Chloe, nine, Beau, four, and Romi, two.

The mum, from Moreton, was due to fly home on Monday, May 15 but was instead rushed to hospital and doctors told her family she had swelling on her brain and heart. Melissa was flown home by air ambulance and was blue lighted to Arrowe Park Hospital on Wednesday, May 24, but tragically, tests showed she was clinically dead.

Mum Michelle and dad Steven paid a loving tribute to their "loving and smart daughter" as they said she "lived for her girls". Michelle added: "She was hard working, had a dirty laugh and she was such a good mummy. She had so much love for those girls."

Tributes have since come pouring in for the "beautiful" young woman. ECHO reader Clare Melling said: "She was too good for this wicked world, now she's guiding her family from heaven. God bless her and hugs to her family."

Julie Corringgam said: "I don’t know the young beautiful girl, but my heart goes out to all her family and friends at this very sad time", as Rita Davies added: "God bless your family so heartbroken for your beautiful family. RIP Beautiful girl." Helen Mccarthy wrote: "Very, very sad."

The ECHO previously reported on Michelle's update about how her daughter would be a donor and donate her organs. Posting online she wrote: "Can’t believe our beautiful girl is a donor and is going down to surgery to donate her organs she had made choices of everything she wanted to donate.

"We're finding it so hard to get our head around this but how beautiful was her heart to do this."

ECHO reader Kerry Pickles said: "Condolences to all her family. And thank you for allowing Melissa to carry out her final act of giving. People forget that even though we opt in to be a donor, our next of kin have the final say. I’ve made mine aware that I want to be a donor so they can be prepared."

Kasia Kukczykajtis added: "Beautiful! My heart goes to her baby’s family an friends! How amazing she will live on through other people."
