Mumbai Boat Tragedy: Search operation continues for 2 persons

Mumbai: Search operation was still on for two persons, including a child, who were still missing a day after a Navy craft hit a ferry off the Mumbai coast, police said on Thursday. 

According to Dynamite News correspondent, 13 people died in the boat tragedy while 98 were rescued. The incident occurred after another the Navy craft collided with the boat around 4 pm on Wednesday.

Missing Persons 
The missing persons have been identified as Hansraj Bhati, 43, and Johan Mohammad Nisar Ahmed Pathan, 7. 
Search Operation Continues

The search operation was underway with help of the Navy and Coast Guard, the police said.

Devendra Fadnavis
On Wednesday evening, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that the probe would be done to know the cause of the accident. 

The Navy and Coast Guard launched the rescue operation. Total 11 Navy boats and three boats of Marine Police were deployed to carry out the rescue and search operation. (With Agency Inputs)
