A mum-of-two who is believes she is the ' world's most tattooed person ' has been banned from her local pub and school over her inkings.
Melissa Sloan has 800 tattoos across her body and face and wants a Guinness World Record to prove it.
Despite loving her body art and continuing to get three new tats a week - the mum is banned from many aspects of normal life.
Melissa, from Wales, is barred from her local pub, schools and other tattoo parlours due to her collection.
The 46-year-old misses a pint and chats at the boozer but says there's "nothing she can do about it" now.
"I can't get a job. They won't have me. I applied for a job cleaning toilets where I live and they won't have me because of my tattoos," she told the Daily Star.
It's not just work that Melissa struggles with, but at the end of last year, she was allegedly barred from her children's school.
She claims she was made to watch her child's nativity play through the window, as people can't see past her alternative appearance.
"No Christmas parties and when I go to my child's school, I don't get invited," Melissa said.
Even getting tatted is an issue, as artists have shut the door and refused to work on her face, over fears of her ink addiction.
"They won't do it because I'm beyond help - because I've gone too far," Melissa explained.
And before she was banned from entering tattoo shops, the mum was barred from the boozer.
"I've been banned for life from pubs in the past because of the tattoos. I have gone into pubs and had people look at me like I'm nobody," she said.
Melissa's face is covered in designs of flowers and crucifixes. Unhappy with one layer, the tattoo addict began inking over her old designs until she had covered her face and head three times.
"I'd like to be a record holder, it's just something different," she told the Mirror. "I'm trying to get into the Guinness book of records.
"I've got three layers on my face, I probably have the most tattoos in the world, and if not then at the rate I'm going on I probably will have in the end - I keep going over and over them."
Melissa also said she often lets her partner do her tattoos himself to keep costs down because she was unable to get a job due to her body art.
"I'm addicted to tattoos, I get three a week and I'll never stop - if I make it to 70 I'll still be getting them," Melissa said.
"Every bit of skin will be covered even if I'm turning blue, my face is already turning blue - I look like a Smurf.
"I could do a bit more on my legs perhaps, I'll go blackout in the end - once you go over it enough times it won't work, it goes black or blue.
"I'm still carrying on, I never stop. I've had a Playboy bunny on my back, my head is covered in tattoos so I'm working on new areas."
