Mum with 800 tattoos is banned from pub for life - and she's 'barred from school' too

Melissa Sloan is famed for being covered from head to toe in ink. The mum-of-two believes she is the 'world's most tattooed person' - and wants a Guinness World Record to prove it.

But despite loving her inked body and face - and continuing to get three tats a week - Melissa is all too familiar with being left out because of the unique way she looks.

The tattoo addict, from Wales, has been banned from many aspects of life, including work, tattoo parlours, schools and even pubs, because of her collection of tats.

Melissa, 46, misses heading down to her local boozer for a pint and chatting with locals at the bar, but says there's "nothing she can do about it" now.

"I can't get a job. They won't have me. I applied for a job cleaning toilets where I live and they won't have me because of my tattoos," she told the Daily Star.

It's not just work that Melissa struggles with, but at the end of last year, she was allegedly barred from her children's school.

She claims she was made to watch her child's nativity play through the window, as people can't see past her alternative appearance.

"No Christmas parties and when I go to my child's school, I don't get invited," Melissa said.

Even getting tatted is an issue, as artists have shut the door and refused to work on her face, over fears of her ink addiction.

"They won't do it because I'm beyond help - because I've gone too far," Melissa explained.

And before she was banned from entering tattoo shops, the mum was barred from the boozer.

"I've been banned for life from pubs in the past because of the tattoos. I have gone into pubs and had people look at me like I'm nobody," she said.

Every inch of 46-year-old Melissa's face is covered in ink, with intricate designs of flowers and crucifixes covering her cheeks, chin, and forehead.

The mum-of-two, from Wales, decided she wasn't happy enough with one layer, so she started inking over the old designs until she'd covered all of her face twice.

Since, she's done it a third time and thinks she must have the most ink out of everyone in the world.

"I'd like to be a record holder, it's just something different," she told the Mirror. "I'm trying to get into the Guinness book of records.

"I've got three layers on my face, I probably have the most tattoos in the world, and if not then at the rate I'm going on I probably will have in the end - I keep going over and over them."

Previously, we reported how Melissa couldn't 'get a job' due to her extensive inkings, even when she covered her designs with makeup.

She said that she is 'addicted' to tattoos and gets three new designs each week - often letting her partner do it himself, to keep the costs down.

"I'm addicted to tattoos, I get three a week and I'll never stop - if I make it to 70 I'll still be getting them," Melissa said.

"Every bit of skin will be covered even if I'm turning blue, my face is already turning blue - I look like a Smurf.

"I could do a bit more on my legs perhaps, I'll go blackout in the end - once you go over it enough times it won't work, it goes black or blue.

"I'm still carrying on, I never stop. I've had a Playboy bunny on my back, my head is covered in tattoos so I'm working on new areas."
