A young mum has said she will have to leave her home with her son tomorrow if a huge bonfire is not removed from nearby land.
Last month the ECHO reported on the fears of 24-year-old Gold Onwuka, who lives in a house in Rickman Street with her two-year-old son Royal. Having seen her home damaged by a huge bonfire on nearby land last year, Gold became very worried to see one being built again this year.
Liverpool City Council then travelled to the area and removed the bonfire, but shortly after people began to rebuild it again. A new image of the land shows this has now been built up into a huge pile.

Gold's landlord Glenn McDowall has now written to the council warning of the dangers posed to his young tenant and her child if this bonfire is allowed to be lit tomorrow.
He said: "It is a sorry state of affairs that Ms Gold Onwuka must take her two year-old-son to a place of safety, as she fears for her life tomorrow night. I might also mention the threat to my own property, but this is secondary to the threat to life. The attached photo was taken yesterday and shows a new “mountain” of flammable material, which needs to be removed today."
He was responding to a message from Gold expressing her fears about the bonfire. She said: "I just want to let you know the bonfire is probably still going to go on because they have started building it again.
"I will have to leave the house because I really don’t feel safe in the house."
Liverpool City Council has been made aware of the current situation.
