A Slimming World consultant has shared her favourite Chinese 'fakeaway' recipe.
Sinead Murphy, originally from Manchester and living in Old Swan, lost five stone in the space of 12 months of following Slimming World's food optimising plan. Sinead said it came after she was "fat shamed" by a stranger who took a photo of her at a car show in Harrogate and shared it on Facebook.
The 51-year-old has now became a Slimming World consultant and runs her own group each week at Hope Community Church in Aintree. Sinead has made her own take on her favourite Chinese takeaway - special fried rice - which she said is 'syn' free and tastier than the real thing.

She said: "I used to have a Chinese takeaway every Saturday night. I would always order a special fried rice so I make my own Slimming World fried rice."
Sinead shared the recipe for her 'fakeaway' chicken fried rice on her Instagram page @slimmingworld_with_sinead.
The ingredients are: Chicken Breast
Sweetcorn
Red Onions - Speed food
Peppers - Speed food
Garlic
White or Wholemeal Rice
Light Soy Sauce
Balsamic Vinegar
@jdseasonings Chinese curry mix for flavour
Sinead said: "People think [Slimming World] is a strict diet - it isn't, it's a lifestyle change. I think you've got to be in the right mindset to do it as well.
"I think going attending a group is so important because you're learning a lot in the group and getting inspiration off others."
