Mum who dresses Instagram celebs opens boutique

A mum who has built a business selling clothes online and dressing influencers never thought she would open her own shop.

Natalie Brumby told the ECHO she is 'so excited' to finally open a boutique in Ellesmere Port. The fashion brand has been available online for years, and you can pick up pieces from the brand in shops like New Look and on ASOS, but they're finally opening a bricks and mortar shop next month.

The brand offers clothes for a range of ages, with everything from loungewear to occasion dresses up for grabs. It was launched by CEO Natalie Brumby, 41, back in 2018, and has since shot to fame, with influencers like Paris Fury, Talia Oatway, and Nicola McLean wearing their designs.

Natalie said: "The shop is really starting to come together, and it looks amazing. I'm so excited for everyone to see it when it opens.

"We've been online for many years, and it was never in my plans to open a store, but people constantly asked about it. We were doing well with the website, and our concession shops like New Look, that I never really thought about it, and my kids (Olivia, 20, Thomas, 18, Oliver, 14, and Stephen, 13) were still quite young.

"We used to have loads of people ringing up asking about being able to come in and pick out an outfit or grab something, so we introduced a click and collect service for people, and that does really well. And because about 30% of our business comes from Liverpool and the surrounding areas, I thought why not put something in place where people can come in the shop.

"So it was never really in my plans but as we grew as a brand online and in concession stores we thought well why not give something back locally where people could pop down and have a little look."

Natalie revealed that delegating tasks doesn't come naturally to her, but she is learning to take a step back as the business continues to grow.

She said: "At first I thought, could we manage the website and concessions and having a store, but we've just catered to that. I'm really hands-on, and that was something for me with opening the store, because I'm so hands on I like to overlook everything, and obviously being one person you know how that could be a little bit too stretched.

"So it's just a case of me learning to let the reins go a little bit and to allocate other jobs to people and let that sort of become part of this idea that I don't do absolutely everything. "

She added that her family and her team have been so supportive of the business. Natalie said: "My husband Patrick and I have been together for 23 years.

"He has always supported me in everything I have done with the business, and drives me from one end of the country to the other for work. I'm all-round blessed and without the support of my kids, hubby, and team I wouldn't be where I am today."

The shop will open at 237 Whitby Road, Ellesmere Port, CH65 6RT on Monday 15 May.
