Mum thanks 'young lads on bikes' outside Home Bargains

A mum has shared her thanks to a group of young lads who helped her outside a Home Bargains store.

The woman took to Facebook to share her experience after she was struggling at the discount store in Newton-le-Willows.

She claims to have 'bought too much' and was unable to carry her shopping to her car, before the group of boys stepped in to help her.

The mum described the boys as "a credit to their parents" in her post, saying their mums and dads "should be proud of them".

The boys were described "as polite" for offering to help carry the woman's shopping for her.

Her post read: "I would just like to thank two young boys on bikes outside Home Bargains for helping me with my shopping. I’d got too much and parked on the market. The boys offered to carry my bags for me and were so polite. Their parents should be very proud of them - thank you"

People rushed to comment to commend the boys for their behaviour, saying it "restored their faith" in the young people in the community.

One comment said: "Thank god there are still some lovely kids around, it gives you faith in human kindness."

While another person added: "I serve quite a lot of lovely young ones in Wilkos, wonderful manners and a pleasure to serve. Not all kids are naughty. I always compliment them. Well done guys! Be very proud of yourselves."
