A mum has revealed her shock after her son found an adult toy in the street which put her in a very awkward position.
Bethany Keane, 28, was walking in Edgeley, Greater Manchester, with her son Zack on Thursday when he saw what he thought looked like a toy, Manchester Evening News reported.
After seeing the toy on the pavement, Zack asked his mum what the object was, which left Bethany to quickly think on her feet.
However, she went down the truthful line rather than making up a story.
She said: “We had just come back from Alexandra Park and I was walking the dog. It was on Old Chapel Street.
“My son goes ‘what is it?’. I was very honest with him, but told him it is not for children.
“He wanted to take it home because red is his favourite colour. I said 'absolutely not'!”
The professional dog walker said: “My son was on half-term, I was walking a dog for a client, so he had to come with me — otherwise I wouldn’t have had such a traumatic day at work.”
However, Bethany and her partner Ben, 31, saw the funny side in the discovery.
He added: “It is probably not the first time I have seen one on the street. We are very proud to live in Edgeley.”
After Bethany posted a photo of the toy, social media users were in hysterics at the story with nearly 250 people reacting to it on Facebook.
