With the rising cost of living, many people are looking for ways to cut back on spending. Food prices are through the roof, and feeding a large family is becoming increasingly difficult for many.
One mum with a family of four has taken to social media to share a clever way to save cash on an easy dinner, dubbing it a 'cost of living hack' for busy parents looking to save money.
The woman, who posts on her page 'Real Mums Club', shared how you can bag yourself a whole meal from the Co-op to feed a family of four for just £5 - that's just £1.25 per person - and you'll be saving yourself £6.
She captioned the video: "Cost of living hacks! Such a good buy for a quick and easy dinner option! Grab yourself a meal deal from the coop saving yourself £6!"
The video showed the tasty haul the mum had managed to bag for just £5 - but there is a catch.
She said: "There's a really good deal that I've just got to tell you about.
"Pop down to your local Co-op, and you can get all of this for just £5, including these Solero ice lollies, a pack of battered fish, some fish fingers for the kids, peas, and some oven chips. Delicious."
But the catch is that "you do need to be part of the Co-op deal to get it even cheaper at £5, otherwise it's £6."
The meal would serve a family of four, with leftovers.
In the video, the mum is referring to a Co-op membership card where you can get exclusive discounts and deals, and it costs just £1 to join.
In the comments, one person commented: "This is a good one to be fair!"
Another said: "It's only a good deal if you like fish", and the mum replied: "This is true! They do change it weekly so keep an eye out."
