A savvy mum-of-six shared how she gave her daughter's bedroom a makeover on a budget thanks to 3D wallpaper she bought for just £22.
Laura Mair wanted to give her youngest daughter the bedroom of her dreams and wanted to create a pastel pink room full of pretty details. Laura, who is a cleaner and works in a nursery, particularly liked the idea of a 3D panelling effect on the walls which can cost hundreds of pounds.
Telling Latest Deals how she pulled off the transformation on a budget, Laura said: "I redecorated my six-year-old daughter's bedroom.

"I wanted her room to be a little more sophisticated and, when I found some wallpaper that I thought would be perfect, the idea for the overall theme grew from there. I have created a warm, pastel pink room with lots of pretty decorative touches.
"The wallpaper was £22 from Amazon and I got two rolls. I love the 3D panelling effect - it looks really realistic. I know that getting the real deal would easily cost hundreds so when I found this wallpaper I knew it was the next best thing."
After finding the wallpaper, Laura continued to look for bargains. She added: "I also painted her drawers using Frenchic paint in the shade Dusky Blush. This paint is £16 for a small tin but it goes a long way. I love Frenchic and I wouldn’t use gloss again.
"I picked up new handles for the drawers from Amazon and they were only £11 for a pack of 10. I got the mirror from there as well for £65 and I put a flower garland on top to make it look nicer. While browsing the site, I saw a chair for £135 which I also picked up.
"I got a cast iron fireplace from Marketplace at a fraction of the original price, painted it with the Frenchic paint and then bought a fire poster from Amazon to give it a real fire effect.
"I wanted to make the room look bigger so I bought stick on mirrors from The Range. They were very cheap. It gives the space a welcoming and homely feel combined with the fireplace. I had leftover carpet from a previous project so I used this in the room.
"The TV cabinet was from Marketplace and it was only £40 which I thought was a bargain price. I used the light fitting from the living room for her room so I saved some money there too.
"All of the accessories came from The Range and Amazon. The plants and plant stand were about £45 in total from Matalan and I got a vase with dried flowers from The Range. I painted it in Dusky Blush to match the drawers.
"The wooden shelves came from Amazon and they were £16.99. I added some accessories to jazz it up a bit. The steps to complete the project were simple - I painted the walls first, then applied the wallpaper.
"Then I laid down the carpet and began adding in the furniture followed by the accessories. My daughter’s room looks great now and we are really pleased with the results."
