A mum was left red-faced when her 10-year-old daughter made her 'the sassiest card ever' with 'you love vodka girl' and a bottle of booze on the front - and even the teachers helped make it.
Jordanna Jones, 30, was left in stitches when ten-year-old daughter Jaelyn Jones presented her with a vodka-themed card that she had made at school last week.
The card, which Jordanna shared on Facebook, is decorated with a purple vodka bottle and has 'I heart vodka' written across the front.
The inside is lovingly decorated with hearts - alongside a sassy sash that reads 'you love vodka girl'.
The cow milker was left red-faced after finding out that the unexpected gift was made at school - and that teachers had even helped Jaelyn to cut out the vodka bottle and stick it on the front.
The mum-of-four claims that she doesn't even drink vodka, and instead wonders if the cheeky ten-year-old was referencing her favourite bottle of plum gin.
Jordanna said: "She had the card behind her back, and was quite giggly. Then she handed it to me and I was like, 'oh my life', and laughed.
"It was really unexpected. I just did a nervous laugh, like, 'have you actually done this?' I was quite shocked.
"But I didn't mind, because it is quite funny.
"She's very outgoing and funny. She's quite a comedian.
"She was quite proud of it. She said that the teachers said it was great, and that they'd helped her to cut the bottle out to stick on the front.
"It was just getting worse - not only had she made the card, but she'd involved teachers to really bring attention to the fact that she's done this.
"We had a parent's evening on Wednesday, and the teachers thought she was great. They said she'd thought outside the box, and that it was really funny."
Jordanna claims that she has plans to put the unlikely gift in a memory box - and for now it is displayed in 'pride of place' on the mantelpiece.
The mum is hopeful that husband Tom Jones, 31, will soon be in for a similar surprise with Father's Day being just around the corner.
Jordanna said: "My husband thought it was highly amusing.
"But I did remind him that it's not long until Father's Day, and that quickly took the smile off his face. It'll be his turn next.
"I'm hoping that she pulls out something for her dad on Father's Day, to make it a bit less on me.
"[The card has] still got pride of place, and it'll definitely be staying. I'll put it in a memory box."
Jordanna shared the post on Facebook, where it racked up more than 600 likes, shares and comments.
One user said: "Fancy a ten-year-old outing you like that at school."
A second commented: "I want to love and laugh [react] at the same time! You should be proud! But it is also very funny."
A third joked: "To be fair, your face wasn't on the card… blame it on nanny, granny and everyone in between."
