Mum receives vile death threat after sharing photos from son's £27,000 birthday party

Hosting a birthday party for your kids is always an exciting moment - albeit stressful at times - as you'll be trying to get as organised as possible so your little one can have the best day.

You may also post some snaps online of the birthday bash, sharing your joy with others - hoping they'll love what they're seeing.

But instead of love and support, one mum received a vile death threat after she shared her son's extravagant birthday party online.

PR pro Roxy Jacenko, 43, decided to share the nasty message she received on her Instagram page, which she captioned: "Another day, another freak slides into my emails."

Roxy Jacenko is an Australian businesswoman and socialite and became famous after she appeared on the third season of The Celebrity Apprentice.

She regularly shares enviable snaps on her social media, and recently shared that her daughter Pixie had enjoyed a lavish party of her own for her 11th birthday.

The shocking message she received read: "You're a disgusting piece of trash Roxy Jacenko. With your vulgar displays of wealth on your young children while many are struggling highlights your total self-centered narcissistic behaviour."

But that wasn't all, as the note became even more sinister and threatening.

It continued: "I pray your cancer comes back with a vengeance and your children get it as well or perhaps the boat can blow up next time and take your whole vapid and vile family with you.

"Disgusting excuse for a human being please f*** off and die a horrible death."

Roxy received the vile email after sharing photos from her son Hunter's rumoured $50,000 AUD (£26,826) birthday party on a superyacht, the Daily Mail reports.

The lavish birthday bash was Hawaiian-themed, aboard the 122ft charter yacht, Ghost II, which costs a whopping $2800 (£1,500) per hour to hire.

Those attending also enjoyed hula girl dancers and a poi-ball dancer.

Roxy told The Sunday Telegraph that her son chose the theme after looking at albums from a family trip.

He'd been looking at pictures from a trip to Hawaii pre-Covid.

"It was then he decided he wanted a Hawaiian-themed ninth birthday as he has missed out on celebrating with his friends due to Covid for the past three birthdays", Roxy said.
