A woman worried about her kids coming out of the paddling pool "blue" has shared how she keeps the water nice and warm for them.
NHS worker DeeDee has revealed how she simply attaches a Lay-Z-Spa Heater to her filter system, claiming this results in "30 degrees, happy kids".
As DeeDee has explained to others keen to give it a go, the filter isn't actually plugged in and doesn't need to be, as the heater is also working as a filter.
According to DeeDee, who first clocked the hack on YouTube, she uses a 10ft Intex pool cover, which she says also helps heat up the first couple of inches of water.

DeeDee - who goes by the TikTok username deedee_005 - admitted it can be "a bit of pain to get it started", as you have to wait for the water to run through the outlet but once this is sorted, it works perfectly.
She herself managed to get the heater through a friend, and has advised others to look on Facebook marketplace if they fancy getting one of their own.
A video shared on TikTok by DeeDee shows the hack in full swing. Many impressed followers are keen to give it a try for themselves, hailing the tip as "clever" and "a good idea".
Although some have argued this would take around "seven years" to heat up, DeeDee hasn't found this to be the case herself.
She said: "I promise it took around 24 hours we did keep it on overnight as well as the first day but I put it on this morning about two hours ago and it’s already 27 degrees."
However, as smart as this hack may be, a number of people have fretted about the impact this may well have on DeeDee's electricity bill, with one alarmed person remarking, "Happy kids but a massive unhappy electricity bill".
Another remorseful individual recalled: "We did this with ours, didn’t use it massively. Ended up getting a massive electric bill. Around £1000 on top of our normal bill over the year."
Others have advised DeeDee to check out solar heat instead as a cheaper option, which one person claims heated their own pool up to "30 to 34 [degrees] most days".
