A "loving" mum who was born with a number of heart problems has died leaving behind her partner and three young children.
Sarah Jones was today described by relatives as a "beautiful and amazing woman" who "lived for her children". Sarah was born with pulmonary stenosis - a condition which reduces blood flow around a valve in her heart.
The 34-year-old also had transposition of the great arteries, a serious problem where the heart's main arteries are reversed, and the use of only one of her lungs. Sarah, from Litherland, had a number of operations throughout her life and spent time in Broadgreen Hospital earlier this year.

Sarah was due to have another operation just two weeks ago but was told by doctors she was too ill to have it. Sarah died on Monday this week. Natalie McKechnie, Sarah's cousin, told the ECHO: "Sarah was amazing. She lived for her children.
"Everything she did was for her children. She also did a lot of fundraising for Zoe's Place who supported her youngest child Charlie who has cerebral palsy. Sarah would buy prizes out of her money and then raffle them off on her Facebook and donate the money back to Zoe's Place."
Natalie, 37 and also from Litherland, said Sarah had been ill for a long time and couldn't work as she would quickly become short of breath. One of Sarah's friends, Lisa Knowles, wrote on a fundraising page that the mum had "fought so hard like a warrior".
Sarah leaves behind her long-term partner Mick and three children - Ella, nine, Mikey, eight, and Charlie, five. Natalie added: "Mick is devastated. He is trying to keep strong for the children by keeping them occupied.
"The kids understand what has happened and Mick has been putting on a strong face for them. He doesn't want to break down in front of them. He is the best dad and the best partner.
"He gave up working a few years ago so he could care for Sarah and the kids. He's now the kids' sole carer. He would do anything for them - they're his world."
A fundraiser has been created in memory of Sarah with all donations going towards her family. Natalie said the donations will first go towards Sarah's funeral arrangements and the rest will go to Mick to help look after their children.
Natalie added: "Everyone has been amazing and so generous. The money will give her the send-off she deserves and ease the family's money worries."
Fundraiser creator Lisa wrote on the GoFundMe: "We are all going to miss you so much. Fly high beautiful."
