The mum of murdered Zach Parker, who was gunned down in north county Dublin in 2019, has paid tribute to her son on his third anniversary.
Zach, 23, whose killing was the first gangland murder of 2019, was shot dead outside a gym in Applewood Close in Swords on the evening of January 17.
Drug dealer Zach was blasted in the head, chest and arm as he sat into his car with a friend.
He died at the scene and his innocent pal who was in the passenger seat was badly injured in the attack, carried out by a lone shooter who fled on foot.
Two years earlier, the heavily tattooed barber had been convicted of drug dealing after being caught with almost €3,000 worth of cocaine.
Four months after his killing, two of his pals - Sean Little, 22, and Jordan Davis, 23, were both murdered as part of the Coolock feud.
Now his mother Siobhan has paid tribute to her son on his third anniversary.
Siobhan took to social media to post a collage of photographs of Zach and his beloved dog.
An image also shows a candle in a glass with ‘Piece of my heart lives in heaven with you Zach’ engraved onto the glass.
Friends also paid tribute placing love heart emojis in the comments while others wrote: “Thinking of you,” “The best there ever was,” and “Sending love. So sad, a lovely young man.”
Zach was an associate of Finglas gangster ‘Mr Flashy,’ who controls the drug operations in north Dublin.
No one has been convicted of Zach’s murder as investigations by gardai continue.
