The mum of a young cancer patient who captured the heart of the Duchess of Cambridge has hit out at "shameful" Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak.
Mila Sneddon featured in an iconic picture from Kate’s lockdown photographic project and came to symbolise isolation during the pandemic after she was pictured kissing her home’s kitchen window as her father stood outside.
At the time, the little girl was undergoing chemotherapy for leukaemia and was photographed separated from her dad Scott during the first Covid lockdown, after he had to go to work and could not risk bringing coronavirus into the family home in Falkirk.
Yesterday, both the Prime Minister and the Chancellor were fined for attending a gathering in the Cabinet Room to mark Mr Johnson's 56th birthday on June 19, 2020.
The pair apologised and confirmed they had paid the fines imposed by the Metropolitan Police for breaching lockdown rules.
And reacting to the news Mila's mum Lynda took to Twitter where she shared the picture of her young daughter separated from her dad.
She wrote: "Whilst they partied" with an unamused face. She also tagged Mr Johnson and Mr Sunak in the tweet and used the hashtag #shameful.

Mila and Lynda first chatted with Kate in the autumn of 2020, when she called them to discuss the photo of Mila that was entered into her Hold Still photography project
Kate asked Mila, then four, about being apart from her father: "How come you couldn't see him for so long?"
Mila replied: "Because he had to look after me because I went for a treatment."
The duchess asked: "Was it really hard not seeing him?"
Mila replied it was and told of the poignant moment they were reunited, saying: "When he came into the house I was like, so surprised."
Kate also told Lynda how she and the judging panel found the image "such a powerful one".
The duchess said: "It tells the story of this particular time and a very personal story to you, so thank you very much for sharing it."
In May 2021, Mila and Lynda finally got to meet Kate during a special meeting at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh.
Kate kept her promise to wear a pink dress and when she walked into the room, Mila's face lit up.
“Hi Mila, look at you," Kate said. "I want to give you a big squeezy cuddle, it’s so nice to meet you in person."
She later attended Kate's Christmas carol concert at Westminster Abbey in December.
Last month, it was revealed that the six-year-old is now cancer-free after her battle with leukaemia.
