Mum of 22 Sue Radford 'nearly wiped out' by car on way home from Liverpool

Mum-of-22 Sue Radford was left terrified after a near-miss with an oncoming car on her way home from Liverpool.

The Youtuber shared her "bad" experience in her latest video update, which saw her daughter Millie, 20, screaming in the passenger seat. The two had been to Liverpool to renew three of the children's passports when they found themselves almost colliding with another car on the way home.

After arriving back to their 10-bedroom house in Morecambe, Sue got out of the car to tell viewers of the incident which saw a car almost "wipe out" their family vehicle by pulling into the middle lane which they had just gone into, Lancs Live reports.

Sue told her viewers: "We've just got home, my legs, guys, are still shaking. We were nearly just wiped out on the motorway it was actually really bad. So I was in the third lane on the motorway and then coming into the middle lane, then there was another car obviously in the first lane.

"As I came into the middle lane, obviously indicating to go into the middle lane, the car that was kind of next to me in the first lane started pulling out and nearly just wiped us out. I've got Millie screaming in the passenger seat, 'oh my god it's going to hit us', so I had to quickly swerve out of the way into the other lane. Thankfully there were no cars, but yeah, not good. Very nearly got wiped out."

Sue then assured fans the children on board, including Millie's new baby son Chester, were "all good" before turning the camera onto him. She said: "Are you wide awake now? We made it home okay didn't we? Silly drivers on the road on the road say. Silly drivers!"

The mission to Liverpool saw Sue hoping to make a 1.30pm appointment at the Passport Office in preparation for their Easter holiday. Due to long queues at the Passport Office, she was delayed by an hour and returned to Millie and Chester who were waiting for her in the car.

In an Instagram story uploaded on Thursday, Sue shared a quick snap showing the three passports had already arrived with them in Morecambe. In the vlog, her husband Noel later explained that the passport renewal turned out to be a confusing experience overall.

He said: "When she (Sue) booked the holiday, when she booked the flights, they said you need at least six months on your passport. We didn't think you did at the time, but anyway, no you definitely do. So she rushed these three passports through, anyway, been googling away tonight and I don't think you do. I don't think you need the six months as long as you got - as long as your passport's valid for whilst you're out there and your trip back. So that's a little bit annoying. Anyway, better to be safe than sorry isn't it."
