Mum mortified after she notices spelling error in completed tattoo of son's name

A mum has been left humiliated after she made the decision to have her son's name tattooed on her arm but did not notice it had been spelled incorrectly until it was complete. The embarrassed mother took to TikTok under @aaryn.mj to share the disastrous spelling error showcased on her arm which displays her son's name Michael inked into her skin as Micheal, the Daily Star reports.

The woman, who has been jokingly mocked online for her unfortunate body ink said that she failed to notice the permanent mistake in time before it could be prevented, having only picked up on the obvious spelling error once she was home.

The humorous clip has been a hit online among TikTok users, having now gained over 25,300 likes. The mum light heartedly - and rhetorically - asks her followers what their idea of a ''worst case scenario'' would be when getting a name tattooed, as she hints: ''It's not breaking up.''

She continues: "It's spelling it wrong. Now, imagine you're gonna go get your children's names tattooed on you... You don't realise after looking at all the stencils to pick the right size that it is spelt wrong.

"They place the stencil. You still don't f**king see it. They tattoo the f**king thing on you. You still don't see it.

"it's not until you take the bandage off and you go to take pictures of it that you see that your son's name is spelt wrong for an eternity!"

Viewers seemed to find the mishap hilarious as they took to the comments to mock her mistake.

The TikTok mum said her son's name had been incorrectly inked as 'Micheal' on her arm (@aaryn.mj/TikTok)

One user said: "I noticed it when you started talking. I was like 'that’s a weird way to spell Michael.'" Another wrote: "Easy fix. Change his name."

A third added: "I’d do a cover-up and then redo his name lol." A fourth commented: "Yep had that done. My daughter's name.

''Noticed before I left though, fixed it but I can still see the mistake." Another user asked what she was planning to do to fix it, to which she replied: "MAYBE A BLACK BAR?!? I haven’t decided yet."
