Brits are highly anticipating their summer evenings as the warmer weather approaches and brighter days are just around the corner.
There's no better way to enjoy the British sunshine than by sitting in the comfort of your own garden, but weeds can quickly kill the high spirits.
Not only are they unpleasant to see, but getting rid of them results in a rather costly and lengthy task.
Thankfully, however, one woman has gushed about her inexpensive method to banish pesky weeds, which she is describing as the "best weed killer ever" after trying all products to no avail, ManchesterEveningNews reports.
Sharing her game-changing method on a money-saving Facebook group, the social media user shared her game-changing tip, which only set her back £1.18.
Her simple method includes only a few items. And better yet, they're most likely found in the back of your kitchen cupboard.
The woman's method consists of using just a litre of white vinegar, three large spoons of salt, three large spoons of washing-up liquid, and a spray bottle.
She initially came across the effective concoction of products after helping her mum fight off the weeds in her garden.
Since her mother already had most of the common household products, she only had to turn to her local Home Bargains to purchase two 59p bottles of vinegar.
She wrote: "My Mum was talking about the weeds growing up between the slabs on her driveway and path.
The woman went on: "Couldn't sleep the other night so started Googling away. Came across this website detailing how to make your own weed killer at home.
"Bought the vinegar from Home Bargains (59p for 500ml) and she already had rest of the ingredients needed.
"£1.18 was all it cost, and after using it on Sunday she said it's the best weed killer ever! Hope this helps someone out," she added.
Alternatively, customers can purchase 568ml bottles from Aldi for just 32p, while Tesco is even cheaper at 29p.
