Mum left mortified after realising how rude B&M Christmas decoration looks

A mum has been left mortified after realising how rude her B&M Christmas decoration looks. The woman was shocked to see a hidden message in her seemingly innocent ornament, reports the Mirror.

Nic, who uses the handle @nic.ep79 on TikTok, took to the video app to share her unique purchase. And the mother got more than she bargained for when picking up the sign at the budget shop.

The wooden word art looks nothing but seasonal upon first glance. The letters are covered in Christmas-themed items, including reindeer ears, a Christmas tree and a candy cane.

The word art is supposed to spell out the word FAMILY, but the letters 'A', 'I' and 'Y' are replaced with other items to create an optical illusion. The letter 'A' is replaced with a Christmas tree, while the 'I' has been removed in favour of a present, and 'Y' has taken the form of a reindeer.

However, when Nic sat the sign down on her TV cabinet she noticed that the optical illusion made it look like another phrase instead of family. Posting on TikTok, she said: "Buying what I thought was a nice FAMILY Christmas ornament.

The mum was shocked when she saw the 'hidden' message (Facebook)

"Then realising it looks like it says 'F**k my life," she added with a face palm emoji. The missing letters make it look as though the ornament spells out 'FML' which is an abbreviation of 'f*** my life'.

The mother saw the funny side of her purchase and so did many of people across social media, who were quick to give their thoughts on the sign. Some fellow buyers of the product from B&M were left stunned by the discovery and claim they cannot "unsee" the hidden phrase.

One person said: "OMG, I bought that and I can't unsee it now". Another said: "Help my mom has that"

Meanwhile, others joked it was a fitting ornament for the past year. Another person said: "For the way this year went, I would get a FML ornament".

However, others were left puzzled as they couldn't see the 'FML' lettering on the sign.
