An optician has been lovingly branded an "idiot" by amused family and friends after ordering the wrong sized household items online on no fewer than three separate occasions.
Gemma Bramley, 39, from Nottingham, failed to read the online descriptions, leaving her stuck with a miniature rug, doormat, and mismatched handles.
The mum-of-one, who gets paid to help others read and see better as a contact lens optician, says her series of shopping mishaps have led to plenty of teasing from loved ones.
Gemma's first error came about when she went to order a replacement handle for her hallway cupboard.
However, despite measuring the handle herself, Gemma didn't give the listing details a thorough read. When it arrived, it was "massive".

Having apparently not learned her lesson, Gemma then went on order a replacement doormat, once again failing to read the small print.
The product that arrived was just the bristle centre, which is said to be scarcely large enough to fit beath her 43-year-old partner Ant's feet.
And last week Gemma ordered what she believed to be a large white fluffy rug for her 10-year-old daughter. However, she was once again left chuckling away after unwrapping the "flannel-sized" order.
Gemma said: "All my friends and family think I'm an idiot for doing it so many times. The thing is, I measured the door handle exactly before going online so I thought I was buying the perfect replacement.
"When it arrived it was massive but I was determined to use it. My partner put it on for me and put it on wonky so the cupboard was super irritating.
"Next we ordered a doormat, not realising that the part we ordered was just the central bit, not it as a whole. It was very problematic for my partner as he has massive feet and I made him wipe them on the tiny matt whenever he came in".
She continued: "Then it all happened once again when my daughter wanted to buy a rug with her Christmas money and sent me over the Amazon link.
"Turns out neither of us read the listing properly and thought the one we were buying was what was photographed. We were a bit worried when a very small parcel arrived, and when we opened it, it was like a flannel".
However, despite all her purchases arriving in all the wrong sizes, Gemma decided to make use of them anyway, and she says they still managed to do the trick.
Gemma said: "I've kept them all even if they are all on the small side. I've learned to love them all as they have character. I’ve paid for it so I'm using it, even if I suffer".
She has since shared pics of three order clangers to Facebook, in a humorous post that has clocked up 921 likes and counting.
In the caption, Gemma wrote: "I have a terrible habit of ordering things online without checking their size. Well, my offspring just ordered herself a rug and looks like she has the same affliction".
Gemma's followers have been left in stitches at her all-too-relatable mix-ups, with one person admitting, "I do stuff like this all the time. I can't measure to save my life."
Another user wrote, "I shouldn’t laugh but this is exactly what I do too", while a third laughed, "That doormat is killing me!"
