Mum in stitches as fake tan fail leaves her with Aldi logo imprinted on her backside

If you've ever tried to apply fake tan at home, you'll know how tricky it can be to avoid disaster, especially when it comes to smearing the substance on just about every surface possible before it's properly dried on your skin. But one mum has found herself in a particularly unique pickle, as her fake tan adventure somehow left her with a supermarket logo imprinted on her skin.

The woman, named Amy, explained she was staying in a hotel and had decided to put on some fake tan before heading to the beach. But because she didn't want to get tan stains on the hotel bedsheets while she waited for it to dry, she placed an Aldi shopping bag on the floor to sit on.

And when she stood up, she realised she'd made a huge mistake as the print on the bag had transferred onto her skin - leaving her with the Aldi logo plastered over her bum.

Amy, from Australia, shared a video on her @amy_baby92 TikTok account where she explained: "So I'm staying in a hotel in Sydney and I thought it would be great to tan myself before we go to Bondi [beach] tomorrow.

"Because we're in a hotel, most things are white, and the bed is white, so I couldn't sit down until it developed. So I sat on the ground on this Aldi bag.

"When I got up, the bag was stuck to my bum and I'd actually basically imprinted Aldi on my a**e. So now I have the Aldi logo stuck to my fake tan on my butt."

The mum then showed off what part of the imprint looked like, alongside the text: "You get the idea..."

People in the comments were left in stitches over the hilarious mishap, although many sympathised with her and told her that next time, she should turn the bag inside out to prevent any ink from the bag transferring onto her skin.

One person said: "Thank you for the laugh! I hope it comes off for you."

While another added: "Oh my god! Funniest TikTok I've seen today."

And a third helpfully suggested: "Maybe turn the bag inside out next time, friend! Hope you were able to get it off."

Thankfully, Amy was able to get the logo off her bum, as she revealed in a follow-up video that the ink had washed off without causing her any embarrassment at the beach.
