A mum spent weeks driving to Asda every day at 6am in a desperate attempt to buy the sell-out Prime energy drink.
Lisa Smith, 42, says she spent three weeks getting up early to drive to her local Asda in Huyton. She was trying to find a bottle of Prime - a hit new venture from social influencers KSI and Logan Paul - for her daughter Jessie, nine.
Demand for the £2 drink has been exceptionally high among teenagers, with reports of bottles being listed on eBay for £10k. However, mum-of-two Lisa eventually struck lucky and managed to buy a few bottles as they were being restocked at 6.45am.

She then surprised a delighted Jessie by blindfolding her and making her guess what the object in her hands was. Lisa said: "I wanted to make it a big deal – I wanted to shock her. It’s what you do for your kids. I was just beaming with pride with the way she reacted.
"She'd given up looking - she said she was going to put it on her list for Santa!"
Lisa wasn't alone in her mission to secure the energy drink, with husband Stuart, 40, also lending a hand. And Jessie had no idea her mum was planning to surprise her with the drink - with her happiness clearly visible in the video.
Lisa said: "She just thought I was going to work. She never knew that I was going to get them. I was always going to surprise her with them."
KSI has since tweeted about Lisa's surprise for Jessie - saying: "This is honestly one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen." Lisa said: "I found out that KSI had tweeted about it, and I can't wait to tell Jessie about that too!"
