Children express their creativity in all sorts of ways, normally to their parents' delight. But even if they encouraged their little one to be artistic, parents aren't always thrilled to see the mess they have to clean up. After all, some stains just don't come out.
But one mum was left with the opposite problem when her son went in on his white t-shirt with a Sharpie pen. Keen to wash the top for the 12-year-old to wear again, she was left with a cleaning dilemma, and not sure what to do she took to a Facebook group to ask for advice.

Posting to Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips, the mum wanted to know the "best way" to wash the shirt. But people feared there was no way to wash the top without destroying the artwork, and they flooded the post with messages begging her to save her son's "excellent" design.
The mum's initial message read: "My 12 year old son did this to his t-shirt with a sharpie what's the best way to wash it??"
And the Oasis -themed design quickly won her son praise, both for his artistic skill and taste in music.
One person wrote: "Don't wash it!! It's brilliant and he has great taste in music!!"
"Leave it on and give him a high five. Definitely good choice in music," a second agreed.
"Hairspray it and keep it. He has good taste," added another.
And someone quipped: "It's Supersonic artwork."
Amazed, the mum thanked people for their kind comments, revealing that her son is a "huge fan" of Oasis. And the proud parent confirmed she plans to keep the T-shirt as it is.
She wrote: "Wow thank you all so much for your amazing comments!! Looks like I'm not washing it but framing it instead. I can't wait to show him all of your lovely comments."
