Mum gets roasted for unique baby names as people say she must 'hate her kids'

Naming your bundle of joy is a high-pressure decision - you're not sure what they're going to be like when they grow up, so it can be difficult to know what sort of moniker will suit them. Will you opt for something more traditional? Something gender-neutral? Or will you throw caution to the wind and decide to name them something head-turning?

That's what one mum decided to do, and she listed the unique names of her children. She headed to Facebook to anonymously write what she had chosen to name them, and what she intends to name her future baby - but she wasn't bothered about any potential backlash.

Braving the haters, she wrote: "I can take the heat I know you'll hate my kids' names..."

Her children's names are Storm West Coast, Chancey'boy Blake, and Starelle Sapphire Rose, and she intends to name her next child either Mariyah River Rain or August Forrest Fox, the Sun reports.

She seems to have taken a lot of inspiration from celebrity culture when choosing her baby's monikers, as Stormi Webster is the name of Kylie Jenner's baby, while West is the surname of Kim Kardashian's children thanks to ex Kanye West.

The mum defiantly said, about the new names: "You won't change my mind but you can try."

In the comments section, many people were less than polite, with one even saying that she must 'hate' her children to name them in such an unusual way.

"Your poor children", one wrote.

"So you hate the kid already...cool. Cool", another commented.

Someone else said that there was 'no way' that the names were real as they felt the monikers were too far-fetched.

"You named your baby West Coast?!", someone questioned. "I feel so sorry for your kids", while another asked "Chancey'boy?!!?"

What do you think of these baby names? Let us know in the comments.
