A mum has been slammed for revealing she was fed up with the Jubilee celebrations and won't be taking part in any.
The Queen is celebrating her official birthday and 70 years on the throne, being the longest monarch to serve. Celebrations and events are happening at Buckingham Palace as well as all over the UK.
Naturally shops and supermarkets have stocked Jubilee themed products and food for anyone celebrating at home.

But one woman took to parenting forum Mumsnet to vent about the bank holiday weekend, admitting she was financially struggling with the rising cost of living and argued it wasn't a time for events.
As the first official event took place this morning on June 2, she wrote anonymously: "I know I’m being miserable but I’m p***** off about the sodding Jubilee! I went to Sainsbury's this morning, paid £1.68 a litre for petrol and then popped in to be confronted by bottles of champagne! The last thing I feel like doing is celebrating!"
The mum went on to explain how she has been forced to cut back on luxurious: "I spent all morning cancelling non-essential DDs [dear daughter] as things are really tight with the rise in energy prices and the increased NI contribution.
"Funny how this ‘magic money tree’ can be harvested to pay for this event when people are genuinely struggling and are told to ‘get a better paid job’! I have a bloody well paid job, thank you, but am still feeling the pinch. I know people are going to say that the economy will benefit - but how? If people spend more, then inflation will rise and the BOE will put up the mortgage rates! I despair!"
The comments were unsurprisingly split between people rallying around her and offering sympathy while others called her 'miserable'.
One said: "Yup you are [being miserable]. I think this is exactly the time for an extra long BH weekend, some cheerful bunting and an excuse to party."
A second replied: "People can celebrate or celebrate as they wish. Nobody has to buy champagne. The cost of this extremely rare event is a minute drop in the ocean of the country’s expenditure."
"I'm not a royalist but this is an event of historical significance. There almost certainly won't be another in the lifetime of anyone who sees this one", another interjected.
One argued it was actually good for the economy: "You don't have to partake in any of the festivities but remember those who do are putting money into the economy which is keeping people's jobs going and their bills paid."
"It's for a 96 year old who has been in public service for 70 years. If we can't let this be celebrated without moaning about it, we really are a miserable nation", a fifth hit back.
And another slammed her: "Stay at home and be miserable if you want to. Let the rest of us get on with it and have something to celebrate after two years of Covid."
But others rallied round the mum and shared their sympathy.
One said: "I sympathise OP. It does feel a bit like 'lets distract the plebs from the dire economic situation with some bunting and an extra bank holiday'.
"I hear you OP! I feel the same to be honest. While I like the Queen usually, for some reason this event leaves me cold. People are at food banks and worried about heating," a second added.
One said: "You're not being unreasonable. Thankfully I'm in a part of Wales where no one gives a monkeys about the Jubilee."
"I am in Scotland and we are not celebrating it, nor are the council", another chimed in.
