Mum shopping at The Range blown away by couple's sweet act of kindness for hungry baby

A woman was left speechless by a complete stranger's act of kindness towards her daughter.

Chiraz Sassi was out shopping at The Range in Leigh with her mum and her 20-month-old daughter Amani when she became hungry.

So, the 38-year-old headed to buy the tot a meal from the cafe, which she was told she had to pay for in cash, reports Manchester Evening News.

With only her card on her, and after learning that there was no cash machine nearby, Chiraz began to head to the exit in search of somewhere else to eat, only to be stopped by a couple who offered to pay for Amani's food.

Speaking to the publication, Chiraz, who lives in Leigh, said: "It was lovely; it was a really lovely gesture.

"I would just like to thank, the couple who was in the range, this afternoon. When I got to the till it said cash only. I only had my card on me and my 20-month-old baby, wanted a drink and a snack.

"I was just going to leave it and they very kindly bought it for me and also got me a coffee. I could not believe the kindness.

"Sorry I did not get your names so hope this will reach you. Amazing. If everyone was like this the world would be a better place. I will be returning the favour when the opportunity arises. Thanks again."
