Mum, 25, with ever-growing 48J cup size boobs fears she could suffocate baby

A desperate mum with ever-growing boobs has described the "horrendous pain" after they bulged to a gigantic size 48J.

Fiona Hornby, 25, struggles to find clothes to wear and suffers from crippling back pain after her breasts ballooned from a C cup in puberty to their huge current size.

The mother-of-one, of Bolton, Greater Manchester, now even claims her life has been "ruined" - and fears she could suffocate her son.

She said: "My huge breasts have ruined my life. They have affected everything.

"My self-esteem has hit rock bottom, I can't find any clothes that fit and can't wear the same things as people my age.

"I have terrible back pains caused by the weight of my breasts. I can't hoover or sleep properly.

"If I do washing up I have to take a break halfway through because the pain is terrible."

The payroll clerk, who claims she is unable to stand for more than five minutes at a time, was diagnosed with macromastia - a condition that causes abnormal enlargement of the breast tissue - in 2015.

She had spent years wondering why her boobs were so large in comparison to those of other girls her age.

The condition has left her with discoloured breasts covered in painful sores and rashes.

Fiona continued: "I find it difficult to go out in public because people think I've got big boobs because I look fat. Some people have even asked if I have had a boob job as they're that large.

"From the age of 10 til just past college everything I wore put my boobs on show. When I was still in primary school I was a C cup.

"I'd be called a 's**g' because it always looked like I was trying to show them off but I wasn't, I just wanted to wear the same things as other girls."

"The pain sometimes can be horrendous.

"People say 'I wish could swap with you' but I say 'you don't,' they're ruining my life.

"I once went to get a bra fitted and I went to the changing room and the lady in the fitting room turned to me and said 'we don't do your size'. It was very, very upsetting."

Now, Fiona is desperately seeking life-changing breast reduction surgery.

She claims she's unable to get the operation on the NHS and so must raise the £5,500 on GoFundMe.

The mum always had an active lifestyle in her teens and early 20s but now isn't able to go to the gym because of the pain she experiences from walking.

"I want people to understand how hard it's been, I've put weight on because I can't move properly because my boobs are so large. It's a vicious circle.

"I can't hold my baby close to me because my boobs are so big I can't even see him and he could suffocate.

"I wasn't able to breastfeed him as a baby. I was terrified i was going to suffocate him because I couldn't hold him properly because i was having to hold my boobs. I couldn't even see his face.

"If I had the operation I'd feel like a new person. I'd be starting life again, I'd be able to go shopping for blouses and clothes I've not been able to wear.

"I've considered moving to have the surgery because it seems like there's no other option.

"Having the surgery will give me the ability to live normally," she said.

A spokesman for NHS Bolton Clinical Commissioning Group said they were unable to comment on individual cases.
