UPDATE: Roads have since re-opened following the earlier crash
MULTIPLE Glasgow roads were closed due to a two-vehicle crash in a busy area.
Emergency crews attended the scene of a collision on Alexandra Park Street in Dennistoun involving a car and a motorcyclist.
Police were alerted to the incident at around 7.05am on Wednesday morning.
Due to the crash, Glasgow City Council said Alexandra Park Street was shut in both directions.
Further road closures were in place at Cumbernauld Road, Sannox Gardens, and Wood Street in the area.
While emergency crews dealt with the collision, drivers were urged to find an alternative route.

At the moment, the condition of those involved in the crash is unknown.
When the incident first took place, a Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Emergencies services are responding to a crash on Alexandra Park Street, Glasgow involving a car and a motorcyclist which happened around 7.05am today.
"Road closures are also in place at Cumbernauld Road, Sannox Gardens and Wood Street.
"Please use alternative routes."
A spokesperson for Glasgow City Council added: "Due to an RTC, Alexandra Park Street is closed in both directions at Alexandra Parade.
"Emergency services are in attendance."
The Scottish Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
