Multiple Georgia Bulldogs exit Tennessee game with injuries

No. 1 Georgia earned a comfortable 38-10 win over No. 18 Tennessee in Neyland Stadium.

Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, a couple of starters were missing from the action. Starting right guard Tate Ratledge exited the game in the first half due to a knee injury. Starting wideout Rara Thomas left due to a foot injury.

There was also a brief injury scare for star tight end Brock Bowers, who limped off the field after catching a 3-yard pass from quarterback Carson Beck.

Bowers spent time speaking with trainers on the sideline before entering the game on the next Georgia series.

Starting wideout Ladd McConkey has seen limited snaps against the Volunteers after leading the Bulldogs in receiving in the last three matchups. He rolled his ankle last week versus Ole Miss.

While the injuries to Ratledge and Thomas did not affect the outcome in this game, their impact will be missed if they miss time moving forward.

The Bulldogs visit Georgia Tech next week before a pivotal matchup with No. 8 Alabama in the SEC Championship.
