The county experienced the impact of several tornadoes within a short 20-minute timeframe, leaving a trail of destruction in their path. Particularly devastating was the strike on a modular home community designated for residents aged 55 and older. The tornadoes lifted, moved, and destroyed entire homes with occupants still inside, leaving nothing but devastation in their wake.
