
Preliminary information from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department indicates that there have been multiple deaths in the areas affected by the ongoing wildfires. Due to dangerous conditions such as spot fires, downed power lines, and leaking gas, homicide investigators have not been able to process the scenes yet.
The sheriff’s department mentioned in a statement on Thursday that once the homicide investigators can assess the scenes, more information will be provided to the public. The wildfires in Los Angeles are still largely uncontained, posing a significant challenge to containment efforts.



While authorities have confirmed at least five deaths in the region, Sheriff Robert Luna expressed uncertainty about the true death toll, stating that they do not have a clear picture of the situation at this time.
