Several cars were damaged after a crash on a major city road.
At least two cars were damaged in the crash on Menlove Avenue on Sunday.
Four police vehicles were present at the Woolton Road junction of the South Liverpool road after what appeared to be a crash near Allerton Towers.
Pictures from the scene taken around 1.30pm today show damage to two vehicles as officers investigated.

A number of officers were in attendance at the scene, while a police van was also present, alongside several police cars.
A blue Peugeot sustained significant damage to its front end - its bumper and headlights had fallen off, while the bonnet had bent up, exposing broken mechanics underneath.

A black car, shown behind the Peugeot in the pictures, was also damaged. It lost at least one headlight and also sustained damage to its front end.
It is not known if anyone was injured in the crash.
Police vehicles appeared to block one of the carriageways earlier this afternoon, but traffic and the road returned to normal shortly after the incident.
It has not yet been confirmed how the incident occurred.
