A hugely popular specialty coffee chain is opening in Liverpool city centre.
Black Sheep Coffee will soon open its doors at Liverpool ONE, inside the former EE Shop unit on Paradise Place. The chain is well known across the UK, with venues in London, Manchester, Birmingham and more.
The new 1,800sq ft coffee shop will serve the brand’s café menu by day, with a signature range of 100% specialty grade Robusta beans, Norwegian waffles, smoothies, shakes and light bites. By night, the site will transform into a cocktail bar.

During the evening, the venue will serve everything from Espresso Martinis and craft beer to wine, sourdough pizza - plus free popcorn. The store will also feature Black Sheep’s ‘Free Coffee Board’.
The board is aimed at fighting social exclusion and means that customers will be able to donate their loyalty rewards to the Free Coffee Board or purchase a drink voucher at a discounted price to be pinned on the board. Anyone who cannot afford coffee can redeem the rewards or vouchers for any hot drink of their choice.
Black Sheep will also forgo single-use plastics as part of its commitment to sustainability. The chain joins a number of new openings at Liverpool ONE, including Cosmo, a pan-Asian restaurant with a world buffet concept that is set to open this summer.
Donna Howitt, Place Strategy Director at Liverpool ONE, said: “As evidenced by the continued strong performance of our restaurants, bars and cafés, Liverpool ONE provides a fantastic food, drink and entertainment offer at the heart of the UK’s most sociable city.
“The addition of Black Sheep Coffee and upcoming arrival of COSMO, along with the continued presence of The Bus Yard, provides even more choice to cater for the considerable and sustained consumer demand.”
There’s no opening date confirmed for the venue yet.
