The MTV Movie and TV Awards have returned for another year, with stars hitting a sunlit red carpet ahead of a ceremony celebrating some of the industry's best.
An emotional Jennifer Lopez received the Generation Award, which celebrates actors whose diverse contributions in both film and television have turned them into household names.
Jack Black's career was also lauded, with star winning the Comedic Genius Award, which he accepted by appearing on stage dressed as a panda before throwing himself into a full body roll.
This year's ceremony, hosted by Vanessa Hudgens, saw Spider-Man: No Way Home beat Dune and The Batman to win Best Movie, with leading man Tom Holland taking home the award for Best Performance.
Meanwhile, his girlfriend Zendaya took home the popcorn trophy for Best Performance in a show for her role in Euphoria, while her co-star Sydney Sweeney accepted the award for Best Fight for Cassie and Maddy's iconic showdown.
Paris Hilton won Best Reality Return for Cooking with Paris and Paris with Love, while Olivia Rodrigo won Best Music Documentary for Olivia Rodrigo: driving home 2 u.
