MSU women’s basketball beats Rutgers on the road

MSU Rutgers Basketball Julia Ayrault Michigan State

After a tough stretch of the season, MSU women’s basketball is back on a winning streak, earning their second straight win on Wednesday night on the road against Rutgers.

Michigan State was led in scoring by Julia Ayrault and Emma Shumate who both scored 12 points on the night. Ayrault, in particular, impressed with her nine rebounds, four assists and two blocks. Grace VanSlooten also added 11 points.

Michigan State will face Illinois next on Sunday.
