MSU-WMU Prediction, Matchup Analysis from LSJ’s Graham Couch

Michigan State basketball is back for one more game in 2024 on Monday afternoon.

The Spartans will host in-state foe Western Michigan in this non-conference matchup from the Breslin Center on Monday. The Broncos are coached by long-time Michigan State assistant coach Dwayne Stephens.

Michigan State is 10-2 overall and this is the final non-conference game left on the regular season schedule.

Western Michigan comes into this game with a 3-8 overall record, and losses in their last four games. The Broncos have only played one other major conference team this year and it was a 20-point loss vs. Butler.

Michigan State is listed as a 27.5-point favorite in this game. Tipoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET on Monday and the game will be televised on Big Ten Network.

Graham Couch of the Lansing State Journal is back again to offer his thoughts on this matchup between Michigan State and Western Michigan. Click here to see how Couch believes this game will play out and who he has winning in the end.
